Balsamic Sweet Chilli Chicken

Prep your veggies and chicken then toss it in the skillet! This recipe is my go to when I want something tasty and quick to make!






Balsamic Sweet Chilli Chicken served over Quinoa. This simple dish will have you out of the kitchen in 30 min or less! It’s colourful, flavourful and so easy to make! A combination of sweet and spicy with hints of balsamic and basil!







Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Total Time: 30 Minutes Serves: 4


Ingredients


3-4 boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

3 sliced peppers, a mix of red and yellow

1 sweet onion, chopped

2 tablespoons chopped basil or basil paste

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Directions


Step 1

Heat skillet on medium-high, add avocado oil, minced garlic and chopped onions, cook for 2 minutes until soft and fragrant.


Step 2

Add chicken slices and remaining ingredients to skillet, cook for about 5 minutes or until no longer pink


Step 4

Once chicken is cooked add sliced peppers and stir-fry until the peppers are cooked but still have a bit of crunch.


Step 5

Serve over cooked quinoa
